Lucy Jeanette Jones

Mrs. Lucy Jeanette Yearwood Jones, 79, of Elberton, passed away on May 16, 2018 in Tignall.

Lucy Jeanette Yearwood Jones was born March 26, 1939 in Royston, Georgia to Harry Lee Yearwood and Mamie Alleen Moon Yearwood Hewell. She went to school at Elberton County High. She was married to Pat Jones in Elberton. She worked in the textile industry. Lucy Jeanette Yearwood Jones is preceded in death by her parents, husband and son from another relationship.

Lucy Jeanette Yearwood Jones is survived by her daughter Harrileen Jones Conner with two sons, Cole Patrick Conner and Jake M. Conner, her brother Daniel Bradford Yearwood and his wife, Louise Patton Yearwood. Their children Daniel Scoot Yearwood and wife Julia Scott Yearwood have two children and four grandchildren. Their daughter Angie Yearwood Smith Lawson has three children, and son Lee Yearwood and Nicole.

The family will receive friends from 2:30 to 3:00pm, Thursday, May 24, 2018 at Berry Funeral Home and funeral services will be held 3:00pm, Thursday May 24, in the Memorial Chapel of Berry Funeral Home with the Rev. Lawrence officiating. Interment will be in Elmhurst Cemetery.
