Arthur John Hatton Jr.

Mr. Arthur John Hatton Jr., 87, of the Gables, Royston, widower of Gertrude Loughlin Hatton, died Sunday morning, August 21, 2011, at the Hartwell Health Care Center. Mr. Hatton was born in Providence, Rhode Island, November 18, 1923, son of the late Arthur Jones Hatton Sr. and Frances Hall Hatton. He was of the Catholic faith, a U.S. Navy Veteran, and a retired Wire Technician from Collyer Wire Company. Left to cherish his memories are two sons, Arthur J. Hatton III of Charlotte, North Carolina and Richard Hatton of Lavonia; four grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren. The family has chosen cremation, and memorial graveside services will be at a later date in Rhode Island. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.berryfh.com.
