Ashley Lisa Thornton Combahee, 44, of Lexington-Carlton Rd., Lexington, GA wife of Shane Combahee passed away Thursday, September 25, 2014 at Athens Regional Medical Center. Mrs. Combahee was born June 21, 1970 in Atlanta, GA to Joel M. Thornton, Jr. and Marsha Lynn Horn Thornton. She was of the Baptist Faith and was a homemaker. Left to cherish her memories are her husband Shane Combahee of the home; daughters Britni Combahee of Colorado; Kira Combahee of Lexington, GA; parents Joel M. Thornton, Jr. and Marsha Lynn Thornton of Venice, FL; and sister Morgan Brooks Martin of Venice, FL. Memorial services to celebrate her life will be held at a later date.
