Bertha Ada Ayers

Mrs. Bertha Ada Herbstriet Ayers, 69, of B. Bailey Rd., Hartwell, GA wife of the late David Alfred Ayers passed away Wednesday, November 2, 2016 at St. Mary's Hospice House.

Mrs. Ayers was born November 19, 1946 in Cincinnati, OH to Bob Herbstriet and Bertha Herbstriet.

Survivors include daughters Cindy Campbell of Hartwell, GA, Cheryl Morris of Hartwell, GA, Kim Head of Martin, GA, Stanelle Voss of Luther, OK, step-daughter Stacey Alfred of Royston, GA, step-son of Shane Ayers of Carnesville, GA; brother; Jack Robert Burg of Springdale, OH, twelve grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husband and parents she was preceded in death by a daughter Tina Holmes, sisters Ruth Bond and Helen Smith and a brother William Herstriet.

Memorial services to celebrate her life will be held at the home of her daughter Cheryl Morris, 4930 Reed Creek Highway Hartwell, GA Saturday, November 5 from 2-4PM.

Flowers are optional and memorials may be made in her honor to St. Mary's Hopsice House, 1660 Jennings Mill Rd., Watkinsville, GA 30677.
