Her greatest accomplishments were her two sons, Bobby and Jeff, and she took every opportunity to make sure they had all of what they needed and most of what they wanted. Later in life, she enjoyed doing the same for her grandchildren.

Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Bobby and Tracey Poole; grandchildren: Reese Poole, Mackenzie Poole, Ramsay Juretic, and Taylor Juretic; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Maxie Eugene “Max” Poole; son, Jeffrey Brian Poole; and siblings and their spouses: Frances and Foster Goolsby, Tommie and Winford Gaines, and John and Angelina Taylor.

Funeral services celebrating her life will be held on Saturday morning, February 25, at 11 o’clock in the Memorial Chapel of Berry Funeral Home, 1265 Washington Highway, Elberton, GA, with interment following in Elmhurst Cemetery. The family will greet friends the hour prior to the service.
