Billy Harper

Mr. Billy Harper, 69, of Bratcher Rd., Hartwell, GA passed away Wednesday, September 13, 2017 at Piedmont Athens Regional Hospital.

Mr. Harper was born October 8, 1947 in Anderson, SC to George Harper and Evia Risner Harper. He was a member of Faith Lutheran Church of Hartwell and was a retired restaurant owner.

He is survived by a daughter and her fiancé: Lynn Hernandez and Terry Bryant of Elberton, GA and grandchildren: Maria Hernandez and Victoria Hernandez.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother: Joseph Harper.

Memorial services to celebrate Billy's life will be held 2:30PM, Saturday, September 16 at Faith Lutheran Church in Hartwell, GA with Dr. Matthew Cawthorn officiating. The family will receive friends from 2-2:30PM just prior to the service at Faith Lutheran Church.

The family has requested in lieu of flowers to please make memorials in Billy's memory to Faith Lutheran Church, 691 Benson St., Hartwell, GA 30643.
