Bobbie Lee Dove

Bobbie Lee Sorrells Dove, 95, of 1301 Woodland Drive, Canon, Georgia widow of the late James William Dove, Sr. passed away Saturday, June 29, 2013 at Elbert Memorial Hospital. Born July 30, 1917 to the late William C. Sorrells and Stella Chandler Sorrells. She was a member of Elberton First United Methodist Church and was retired from the textile industry. Left to cherish her memories are a son James William Dove, Jr. of Elberton, daughters Beverly Dove of Hartwell, Georgia and Stella Hopkins of Acworth, Georgia; five grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, three nieces and one nephew. Graveside services to celebrate her life will be held 11AM Monday, July 1 at Elmhurst Cemetery with Reverend Leon Suttles officiating. The Dove family will receive friends from 10-10:45AM just prior to the service at Berry Funeral Home.
