Mrs. Bobbie Sue Maxwell Adams, 83, of Deep Creek Road, Bowman, wife of the late Albert H. Adams, passed away on Saturday, April 19, 2014, at Spring Valley Healthcare Center. Mrs. Adams was born in Elbert County on August 11, 1930, to the late Jasper T. and Lessie Vaughn Maxwell. She was a retired seamstress from Elberton Manufacturing and was a member of Fork Creek Baptist Church. Left to cherish her memories are her children and their spouses, Patricia and Leonard Honaker, Terry and Barbara Jean Adams, and Susan and Bruce Webb, all of Bowman; sister, Wilma Barber of Fayetteville; eleven grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by her son and daughter-in-law, James T. and Pam Adams; and siblings, Orene Moore, Pernie Driver, Mildred Driver, J. Walter Maxwell, Fred T. Maxwell, and Eugene Maxwell. Funeral services celebrating her life will be held on Monday, April 21, at 2:00p.m. in the Memorial Chapel of Berry Funeral Home with the Revs. Bill Vaughn and Tim Adams officiating. Interment will follow in Deep Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. The family is at the residence and will receive friends at Berry Funeral Home from 7:00-9:00p.m. on Sunday evening.
