Bonnie Sue Pless Rodriguez

Ms. Bonnie Sue Pless Rodriguez, 75, of Ocoee, FL, passed away on Thursday, January 23, 2020, at South Lake Hospital in Clermont, FL.

Ms. Rodriguez was born in Toccoa on April 3, 1944, daughter of the late Norman Coy Pless and Jessie Mae Helen Elizabeth Taylor Pless. She was a retired restaurant cook and of the Pentecostal faith. “Nanny” enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Survivors include her children: Terry and Vicky Carter of Winter Garden, FL, Rocky and Nena Carter of Atlanta, Kim Driver and Shayne Castle of Ocoee, FL, and Tracy and Jaime Medina of Ocoee, FL; step-children: Denise Griffin of Minneola, FL and Will and Rhonda Driver of Elberton; ten grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; siblings: Grady Pless of Elberton, Jerry Pless of Abbeville, SC, Linda Smoke of Iva, SC, Wayne Pless of Calhoun Falls, SC, and Ronnie Pless of Calhoun Falls, SC; and several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Glenn Driver; daughter, Rhonda Sue Driver; and siblings: Lois Phillips, James Pless, Frances “Ollie” Harris, Betty Jo Smith, and Shirley Hill.

Funeral services celebrating her life will be held on Tuesday, January 28, at 10 o’clock at Deep Creek Baptist Church with the Rev. Douglas Huff officiating Interment will follow in the church cemetery. She will be placed in the church at 9:30a.m. on Tuesday.

The family will receive friends at Berry Funeral Home from 5:00-8:00p.m. on Monday, January 27.
