Brenda Adams Floyd

Mrs. Brenda Ruth Adams Floyd, 78, of Green Acres Road, Elberton, wife of 61 years to Allen ‘Neal’ Floyd, entered into rest on Wednesday, March 11, 2020, at her residence.

Mrs. Floyd was born in Elberton on September 16, 1941, daughter of the late James Beverly Adams, Sr. and Sudie Ruth Skelton Adams. She was a lifelong, dedicated member of New Bethel United Methodist Church and a retired secretary/bookkeeper having worked in the granite industry. Brenda was a former member of Elberton Pilot Club and will be missed greatly by all of those who knew her.

Survivors include her husband, Neal, of the residence; and brother, James B. “Buddy” Adams, Jr. of Elberton.

Funeral services celebrating her life will be held on Friday, March 13, at 2 o’clock at New Bethel United Methodist Church with the Rev. Richard Jarvis officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

The family is at the residence and will receive friends at New Bethel United Methodist Church from 1:00-1:45p.m. on Friday prior to the service.
