Brenda Gail Bond Mooney

Mrs. Brenda Gail Bond Mooney, 60, of Bond Drive, Elberton, wife of the late Ronnie Frost Mooney, passed away on Monday, January 17, 2022, at her residence.

Brenda was born in Elberton on September 29, 1961, daughter of the late Robert Norman “Pete” Bond and Georgia Willie Page Bond. She was a home health professional having worked for Tugaloo Home Health Care, and a member of Rock Branch Baptist Church.

Survivors include her sons: Christopher Eugene “Chris” Johnson of Hartwell and Robert A. “Robbie” Johnson of Anderson, SC; grandchildren: Shyanne Johnson, Olivia Johnson, Xavier Johnson, and Rhett Johnson; and great-grandchild, Kingston Hardman.

In addition to her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by her an infant sister, Norma Jean Bond; and the father of her children, Bill Johnson.

Graveside services celebrating her life will be held on Thursday, January 20, at 1 o’clock at the Rock Branch Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Kevin Vaughn officiating.
