Carey Donald Cooper

Mr. Carey Donald Cooper, 73, of Petersburg Road, Elberton, GA, passed away Saturday, March 4, 2023, at Spring Valley Nursing Home.

Mr. Cooper was born July 18, 1949, in Elberton, GA to Mac Allen Cooper and Allie Mae Rousey Cooper. He was a retired manager from Anderson Auto Parts and was a veteran serving in the Army National Guard.

He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Jennifer and Brent Stovall of Elberton, GA; grandchildren: Samantha Stone and Bren and Tyler Stovall and Rose; and four great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brother, Wayne Cooper; and nephews: Dwayne Cooper and David Cooper.

The family will receive friends from 5PM to 7PM Thursday night March 9, 2023 at Berry Funeral Home.

A private memorial service will be held later at Forest Hills Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made in his memory to the Elberton First Baptist Church Ramp Ministry, 132 Heard Street, Elberton, GA 30635.
