Caroleen Seymour Ruff

Mrs. Willie Caroleen Seymour Ruff, 92, of Horace Rd. Bowman, GA passed away Monday, July 4, 2022.

Mrs. Ruff was born June 3, 1930 in Bowman, GA to William Hubert Seymour and Pauline Beatrice Parham Seymour. She was a homemaker, former member of Falling Creek Baptist Church and a current member of Rehoboth Baptist Church.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law: Albert Maurice Ruff, Jr. and Sherry Ruff of Elberton, GA; daughter and son-in-law: Melody Ruff Burkett and Robert Hugh Burkett of Lilburn, GA; siblings: Williams Randall “Billy” Seymour (Amelia) of Bowman, GA, Lynn Herndon of Bowman, GA, Judy Seymour Seigler (Milton) of Bowman, GA, Patricia Seymour of Bowman, GA, Mary Seymour Edwards (Ronald) of Conyers, GA; three grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild due in August.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Albert Maurice “Shorty” Ruff; brother Tyler Cleveland Seymour and sister Beth Parham Clinton.

Funeral services to celebrate her life will be held 3PM, Thursday, July 7 in the Memorial Chapel of Berry Funeral Home with Brother Wayne Barger and Rev. Van Power officiating. Interment will follow in Forest Hills Memorial Park.

The family are at their respective homes and will receive friends from 2PM to 3PM just prior to the service at Berry Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers the family has requested please make memorials in her memory to Falling Creek Baptist Church or to Rehoboth Baptist Church.
