Charles Donald Henderson

Born in Atlanta, GA he was a son of the late Guy Henderson and Meta Kries Henderson. He was a member of Doves Creek Baptist Church, a member of New York City Opera where he sang and performed for 45 years, and was a U.S. Army veteran. Survivors include nieces and nephew Gregory R. and Judy Henderson, Rueshelle Henderson Ambrose, sister-in-law Shirline Mangum Henderson. He was preceded in death by a brother Guy Perry Henderson. Funeral services will be held Saturday October 31, at 2PM at Doves Creek Baptist Church with Rev. Douglas Huff and Rev. John Guest officiating. The family will be at the home and will receive friends from 7-9PM Friday night at Berry Funeral Home. Pallbearers will include Larry Atkins, David Atkins, Randy Stover, Bobby Peacock, Chris Bastyr, and Brent Scoggins. In lieu of flowers the family has requested please make memorials in his honor to Doves Creek Baptist Church.
