Mr. Clyde Hall, Jr., of W. Ginn Street, Bowman, husband of Carol Conwell Hall, passed away on Sunday, March 9, 2014, at Elbert Memorial Hospital. Mr. Hall was born January 31, 1943 in Elberton, Georgia to the late Clyde Hall, Sr. and Florence Thornton Hall. He was a member of Bowman Baptist Church where he taught the Baracca Sunday School Class and retired in 2002 from Bellsouth (AT&T) as a service technician after 38 years of service. Left to cherish his memories are his wife of the home Carol Conwell Hall; son and daughter-in-law Lee and Christel Hall of Colbert, GA; daughters and sons-n-law Valerie and Trey Hogan of Athens, GA; Kathie and Rob Bell of Elberton, GA and grandchildren Taylor, Aaron, Daniel, Jacob and Landon Hall; Madison, Sullivan and Eli Hogan; Noah and Jase Bell. Funeral arrangements to celebrate his life will be 11AM, Wednesday, March 12 at the Bowman Baptist Church with Pastor Mike Petty, Reverend Ed Sayer and Reverend Kevin Vaughn officiating. Interment will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery in Bowman, GA with Allen Moore, Oscar Dixon, Wynn Vickery, Neil Summerour, Thomas Cauthon and Charles Johnson serving as pallbearers. The Hall family is at the residence and will receive friends from 6-8PM Tuesday night at Berry Funeral Home.
