Coy J. Bryant

Coy J. Bryant husband of Betty Sue Bessinger Bryant died Monday January 11, 2010. Born in Franklin County, he was a son of the late Tom and Moddie Bryant. He was a U.S. Army veteran serving in WWII, a member of Elberton First Baptist Church, a member of the VFW, and American Legion. Survivors include his wife of the home Betty Sue Bessinger Bryant, a daughter Natalie Burden, a brother Doyle Bryant, and four grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Wednesday January 13, at 1PM with Rev. Phillip Burden and Rev. Ken Whitfield officiating at the Memorial Chapel of Berry Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Elmhurst Cemetery. The family is at the home and will receive friends from 12-1PM just prior to the service at Berry Funeral Home. The family has requested please in lieu of flowers to make memorials in his honor to Elberton First Baptist Church.
