Curtis Dwayne Lunceford

Mr. Curtis ‘Dwayne’ Lunceford, 57, of Nickville Road, Dewy Rose, husband of 39 years to Carol Ann Kidd Lunceford, entered into rest on Thursday, November 7, 2019.

Dwayne was born in Elberton on December 18, 1961, son of the late James Melvin and Doris Opal Saxon Herring, and the late Robert Lunceford. He was a top polisher having worked in the granite industry and a member of Dewy Rose Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Carol; sons: Brad and Lauren Lunceford of Hoschton, Josh and Sara Lunceford of Hartwell, and Drew Lunceford of Marietta; three grandchildren: Ryleigh, Grayson, and Kinnesyn Lunceford; and brother, Stan Lunceford.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Wesley Herring.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, November 10, from 1:30-2:30p.m. at Dewy Rose Baptist Church with the funeral service following at 3 o’clock in the church sanctuary. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family is at the residence.
