Danny "Black Boy" Paul Davis

Danny Paul "Black Boy" Davis, 52, of 1651 Fork Creek Road, Bowman, husband of Sandra Dunn Davis, passed away Friday, September 7, 2012, at Athens Regional Medical Center with his family at his side. Mr. Davis was born in Elbert County, August 31, 1960, to Sara Ann Dutton Davis and the late Walter Watson Davis. He was a carpenter and of the Holiness faith. Left to cherish his memories are his wife, Sandra Dunn Davis; mother, Sara Ann Dutton Davis of Elberton; siblings, Sara Frances Driver of Elberton, Perry Davis of Elberton, Douglas Davis of Anderson, South Carolina; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services celebrating his life will be held at 2PM Sunday, September 9, in the Memorial Chapel of Berry Funeral Home with the Rev. Roland Molina officiating. Interment will follow in Elmhurst Cemetery with Jeremy Davis, Chad Davis, Jamie Driver, Jake Driver, Kevin Driver, and Tommy Smith honored as pallbearers. The Davis family is at the residence of his mother, Sara Ann Dutton Davis, 1392 Whites Chapel Road, Elberton, and will receive friends at the funeral home from 6-8PM Saturday evening.
