Debra Elaine Franklin Bryant

Mrs. Debra Elaine Franklin Bryant, 67, of Bellew Drive, Bowman, wife of the late Stanley Clark Bryant, passed away on Saturday, September 12, 2020, at Piedmont Athens Regional Hospital.

Debra was born in Elberton on October 20, 1952, daughter of the late Joseph Dewey Franklin and Eddie Mae Walling Mitchell She was a retired Monument Draftsperson having worked at Bryant’s Drafting Service and a former CNA having worked at Heardmont Nursing Home.

Survivors include her children: Julie Ann Williams and Jack and James Ashley Rousey, both of Bowman; step-daughters, Michelle and Darren Scarborough and Crystal and Jason Davis, both of Dewy Rose; siblings: Randy Franklin of Elberton, Gail Seymour of Athens, Renee Bradford of Elberton, and Tina Jordan of Calhoun Falls, SC; seven grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by a grandson, Dillon Segars.

Memorial services celebrating her life will be held on Sunday, October 18, at 11 o'clock at Bowman Baptist Church. Rev. Mike Petty will officiate.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her memory to T.J. & Friends Foundation, Bowman Baptist Church Missions, or Elbert County EMS Special Uses Fund.
