Dennis Julian Standard

Mr. Dennis Julian Standard, 69, of Dr. George Ward Rd., Elberton passed away Saturday, April 18, 2015 at Athens Regional Medical Center. Mr. Standard was born December 19, 1945 in Columbus, GA to Anderson Standard, Sr. and the late Imogene Danner Paschall. Left to cherish his memories are his father Anderson Standard, Sr. of Tignall, GA; brothers and sisters-in-law Anderson and Linda Standard, Jr.; Darrell and Dianne Standard; Kenyon and Patsy Standard all of Tignall, GA; sisters and brothers-in-law Patricia S. Bryant and Edwin G. Morris of Elberton, GA; Linda Standard of Washington, GA; Rebecca S. and Roddie Guin of Little River, SC; Fay S. and Efrem Gunter of Washington, GA; aunts Sarah Standard and Mary S. Denard; nieces and nephews Karen Alexander, Mike Standard, Bobby Ansley, Bobby Keith Standard, Daniel Standard, Chris Standard, Deana B. Crook, Billy Bryant, Will Standard, Adam Standard, Ashley Edwards, Allison Echols, Jason Standard, Russell Standard, Thomas Paradise, Casey Paradise, Keith Lovvorn, Kenneth Gunter and Kyle Gunter; and a great number of great-nieces and nephews. In addition to his mother he was preceded in death by a brother Keith Standard. Memorial services celebrating his life was held Sunday, April 19 at Fishing Creek Baptist Church in Tignall, GA with Rev. Roy Cates and Rev. Ficklen Guin officiating where he was a lifelong member.
