Dick Mills

Mr. Tommy "Dick" Derald Mills, 74, of Oak Dr., Elberton, GA passed away Monday, October 30, 2017 at Anmed Health in Anderson, SC.

Mr. Mills was born April 21, 1943 in Savannah, GA to Rucker Mills and Cornelia Smith Mills. He was a member of Fortsonia Baptist Church, a retired saw operator in the granite industry. Dick was a legendary race car driver for 25 years.

He is survived by his soulmate whom he shared 29 years together: India Wilhite; son: Todd Derle Mills (Ana Marie Bates); daughter: Candice Hobbs; siblings: Patricia Mills Childs; Mike & Priscilla Mills; grandchildren: Landon Sanders, Derrian Brown, Savannah Hobbs, Isabella Maitland, Mariah Hobbs and Avril Maitland.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother: Ronnie Berg Mills and daughter: Misti Hobbs.

Memorial services to celebrates Dick's life will be held 3PM, Saturday November 11 at Celebration Outreach Center. The family will receive friends from 2-3PM just before the service at Celebration Outreach Center.
