Donald Doyle Bates

Mr. Donald "Buck" Doyle Bates, 77, of Kristy St. Bowersville, GA passed away Thursday, December 5, 2019 at his home.

Mr. Bates was born June 12, 1942 in Franklin, NC to Ray Bates and Gertrude Hodgin Bates. He was a self-employed brickmason and a U.S. Army veteran.

He is survived by his wife Phyllis Juanita Watts Bates; siblings: Bechard Hodgin, Leoma Crisp, Billy Joe Bates, Willie Eldon Bates and Patricia Gail Peppers.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother Dolan Bates and a sister Elbie Holland.

Mr. Bates was cremated and no services are planned at this time.
