Donna Jean Carlyle

Donna Jean Clark Carlyle, 52, of Royston, Georgia passed away on September 28, 2017 at
her residence.

Born in Japan on August 8, 1965 to the Brenda Roberts of Homer, Georgia and
the late David Clark. Mrs. Carlyle was of the Baptist Faith. She was a devoted wife, daughter,
mother and Nanny. She enjoyed sewing, and spending time with her family. She is a 1983
graduate of Banks County High School. Mrs. Carlyle was a foster parent to many children that
needed cared for and loved.

In addition to her father, she was also preceded in death by her sister Denise Brock of Homer,
Georgia.

In addition to her mother, Mrs. Carlyle is survived by her husband Rickey Carlyle of 17 years,
sons and daughter-in-law’s Lamar Parson (Betty) of Royston, Michael Carlyle (Heather) of
Buford, and daughter Brittany Ballenger of Athens; brother Matt Clark of Athens, and
brother-in-law Joe Brock of Homer; she had 14 grandchildren, 1 niece, 1 nephew and 6 great
nieces and nephews, and other relatives and friends.

Mrs. Carlyle wished to be cremated and Memorial services will be held on September 30, 2017 at Bethany Christian Church in Homer, Georgia at 2 pm, with Rev. William Bray officiating.
