Dorothy Ann Hadaway

Dorothy Ann Lavender Hadaway, 68, of Wesley Chapel Rd., Lexington, GA passed away Sunday, May 15, 2016 at Athens Regional Medical Center.

Mrs. Hadaway was born January 6, 1948 in Athens, GA to the late Leroy Lavender and Mary Jo Lipham Lavender. She was a retired Communication Specialist from Athens Regional Medical Center.

Left to cherish her memories are daughters and sons-in-law Kimberly Hadaway Chandler and David Chandler of Lexington, GA, Brenda Hadaway Winn and Steve Winn of Arnoldsville, GA, Teresa Lynn Crandall and Melvin Crandall of Lexington, GA; sisters Brenda Porter of Columbus, GA, Nancy Lavender Howard of Flagler Beach, FL, Barbara Lavender of Athens, GA; brother David Lavender of Bogart, GA and grandchildren Kayla, Landen, Wesley, Hayden, Gracie, Dakota and C.J.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a daughter Pamela Jo Hadaway and a brother Michael Lavender.

Memorial services to celebrate her life will be held 2PM, Thursday May 19 at Mt. Pleasant Community Church in Crawford, GA with Rev. Rodney Porter officiating. The family will receive friends from 1-2PM just prior to the service at Mt. Pleasant Community Church.
