Doyle Robert Davis

Mr. Doyle Robert Davis, Sr., 63, of Athens Highway, Elberton, GA husband of Iris Bobo Davis passed away Thursday, July 24, 2014 at Elbert Memorial Hospital. Mr. Davis was born September 22, 1950 in Elberton, GA to the late Deal Thomas Davis and Mattie Howard Davis. He was of the Baptist Faith, a U.S. Army Veteran and was retired from Star Granite Interiors. Left to cherish his memories are his wife of the home Iris Bobo Davis; daughters and son-in-law Dawn D. and Bryan Collins, Nicole Bobo; son and daughter-in-law Bobby and Crystal Davis; grandchildren Addisyn Davis, Isaac Davis, Gavin Davis, Brooke Collins; a great extended adopted family and a sister Amelia Davis-Horne. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by brothers Melvin Thomas Davis and Willie Howard Davis. It was Doyle's request to be cremated and inurnment will be at a later date.
