Obituary for Elmer Marvin Pulliam, Jr.

Mr. Elmer 'Marvin' Pulliam, Jr., 87, of Elberton, passed away on Tuesday, March 12, 2019, at PruittHealth at Spring Valley.

Mr. Pulliam was born in Elberton on September 7, 1931, the only child of the late Elmer Marvin Pulliam, Sr. and Lizzie Mae Yeargin Pulliam. He was a retired educator, former Baptist minister, and a member of Falling Creek Baptist Church.

He is survived by his cousin and caretaker, Ray Yeargin and his wife Sandra, and a host of other cousins.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 14, at 2 o'clock from the graveside in the Deep Creek Baptist Church cemetery, where he will be laid to rest by his parents. Rev. Tim Adams will officiate and Mr. Tyron Yeargin will provide music.

Contributions may be made in his memory to the charity of one's choice.
