Evelyn Frances Hilliard Worley

Ms. Evelyn Frances Hilliard Worley, 87, of Highway 172 West, Bowman, passed away on Sunday, July 17, 2022, at St. Mary's Hospital in Athens.

Ms. Worley was born December 7, 1934 in Bowman, GA to Bunyan King Hilliard and Clara Mae Hall Hilliard. She was a retried seamstress and was a member of Rehoboth Baptist Church.

She is survived her daughter and son-in-law: Jean Hazle and James Hazle of Bowman, GA; step-daughters: Shirley McIntyre of Ila, GA, Jane Brookshire of Commerce, GA; granddaughter: Jena N. Hazle; step-grandson: Josh Hazle and a step-great-grandchild: Julie Hazle.

Funeral services to celebrate her life will be held 11AM, Thursday, July 21 in the Memorial Chapel of Berry Funeral Home with Mr. Billy Hall officiating. The family will receive friends from 6PM to 8PM Wednesday night at Berry Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery with Marcus Hall, Phil Mize, Kenneth Ashworth, James Hazle, Josh Hazle and David Maxwell serving as pallbearers.
