Mrs. Linda 'Faye' McCall Herring, 63, of Calhoun Falls Highway, Elberton, wife of the late T. Jerry Herring, entered into rest on Wednesday, November 6, 2013, at Heardmont Nursing Home following an extended battle with cancer. Born in Wilkes County on November 2, 1950, she was the daughter of the late Ralph Albert McCall, Sr. and Sarah Willie House McCall. She was Baptist by faith and retired from Monroe Automotive Company. "Miss Faye" loved her family and friends dearly. She is survived by daughters, Stacey and Heath Rayle, Karen and Darren Ray, and Joni Wilson and Andy Bello, all of Elberton; grandchildren, Russell Lutz, Wyatt Rayle, Jordan Wilson, and Russ Wilson; sister and brothers-in-law, Jane and Bill Broome of Stone Mountain and Wendell Rogers, Sr. of Athens; sister-in-law, Faye Rice McCall of Tignall; father of her children, Ray Wilson of Elberton; mother-in-law, Lucy Worley Richards of Thomson; and several nieces, nephews, and friends. In addition to her parents and husband, she  is preceded in death by siblings, Ralph A. McCall, Jr. and Anne McCall Rogers. Funeral services celebrating her life will be held on Saturday, November 9, at 11:00a.m. in the Memorial Chapel of Berry Funeral Home officiated by the Rev. Douglas Huff. Interment will follow in Forest Hills Memorial Park with Andy Bello, Bill Boswell, Robert Higginbotham, Steve Higginbotham, Tanner Moore, and Tal Swygert honored as pallbearers. The family is at the residence of Heath and Stacey Rayle on Indian Hill Road and will receive friends at Berry Funeral Home from 6:00-8:00p.m. on Friday evening.
