Gary L. Norton

Mr. Gary L. Norton of Elberton, formerly of Almond, NY and the surrounding area passed away on Monday, March 20, 2017, surrounded by his family.

Gary was an over the road truck driver for many years and was also in the food service industry. His grandchildren were the love of his life.

Gary is survived by his father, Eugene Norton of Hornell, NY; children: Christopher Michael Norton (Conley) of Elberton and Michelle Norton Warnock (Ben) of Hartwell; grandchildren: Caleigh and Rylan Norton of Hartwell, Braylin and Kylin Norton of Elberton, and Maggie Brooks of Elberton; sisters: Pam Stuart (Dick) of Almond, NY and Amy Adams Hunt (Dave) of Canaserega, NY; former wife, friends, and caregivers: Kim Giglio and Frankie Morris of Elberton; and several nieces and nephews.

Gary was preceded in death by his mother, Doris Mann Norton Adams and her husband LaVerne.

A memorial service is being planned for a later date.

The family is at 1939 Anderson Highway in Elberton where they will receive friends.
