Jacqueline Sikes Lunsford

Mrs. Jacqueline Sikes Lunsford, 91, of Petersburg Road, Elberton, GA, passed away on Friday, September 25, 2020, at Piedmont Athens Regional Hospital.

Mrs. Lunsford was born on November 29, 1928, in Statesboro, GA to Johnny Buford Sikes and Ouida Lee Jones Sikes. She was a member of Concord United Methodist Church and had worked in the jewelry department at Walmart.

She is survived by her children and their spouses: John Lawrence Lunsford and Donna Lunsford of Elberton, GA, Laura Ann Carrick and Tim Carrick of Asheville, NC, and Thomas Bryan Lunsford of Elberton, GA; one granddaughter, Martha Angela "Angie" Dye of Elberton, GA; and one great-grandchild, Averie Grace Dye.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George Lawrence Lunsford and an infant daughter, Martha Ellen Lunsford.

Funeral services to celebrate her life will be held 2PM on Wednesday, September 30, graveside at Concord United Methodist Church Cemetery with Rev. Thomas Moon officiating.
