James Anthony "Jamie" Fleeman

Mr. James Anthony “Jamie” Fleeman, 50, of Elberton, GA passed away Sunday, November 7, 2021 at AnMed Hospital in Anderson, SC after a brief illness.

Jamie was born in Hartwell, GA on March 15, 1971 to Talmadge Eugene Fleeman and Linda Philyaw Fleeman.

Jamie grew up in Elberton, GA and was a graduate in the class of 1989. In the past Jamie had been a master carpenter by trade. He loved being outside and working on the yards of all the people he loved. He loved fishing and found much peace by the water doing what he loved. Jamie also loved his family and spending time with his children, grandchildren and other family and friends.

Jamie is survived by his wife: Kendall Fleeman and daughters: Jordon, of Rochelle, GA and daughter: Brittni Fleeman (William Trey Isbell) of Anderson, SC; son: Brock Fleeman (Ashlie) of Anderson, SC; stepdaughters: Brooklyn Covington and Morgan Covington; and his ex-wife, friend and mother of his children Holly Brickman of Anderson, SC.

Survivors also include Jamie’s brothers; Frankie Morris (Kim) of Elberton, Mike Freeman of Anderson, SC, William “Billy” Fleeman of Atlanta, GA. He had many stepsisters on his fathers side, a special step sister Janice (Gulley) Lathrop of Simpsonville, SC.

The biggest piece of Jamie’s heart belonged to his grandchildren, Natalie, Liam, Kiley, Aubreigh, Brylie.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

A special thank you to the 7th floor Neuro staff at AnMed Hospital for their professionalism and kindness during this tragic time.

Memorial services to celebrate Jamie's life will be held at a later date.
