James Gordon Catterton

Mr. James Gordon Catterton, 66, of Appaloosa Lane, Tryon, NC passed away Monday, December 23, 2019 in Danielsville, GA.

Mr. Catterton was born December 2, 1953 in Colleton County, SC to Edward Lloyd Catterton and Martha Lavinia Hiers Catterton. He was retired from being owner/operator of Colleton Glass and Mirror for 20+ years, a U.S. Army Veteran and avid sailor.

He is survived by his daughter: Elizabeth Ann McEntyre of Danielsville, GA; son: James Ross Catterton (Brittany) of Ruffin, SC; brothers: Ross Catterton (Denise) of Walterboro, SC, Chester Catterton of Citra, FL; two grandchildren: Aaron and Caleb Murdock; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother: Michael Lloyd Catterton, Sr.

Memorial services to celebrate his life will be held 11AM, Tuesday, December 31 at Black Creek Baptist Church, 4931 Black Creek Road, Walterboro, SC 29488. Inurnment will follow in the church cemetery with military honors.
