James Randall Drake

Mr. James Randall "Boone" Drake, 56, of Fork Creek Road, Bowman, husband of the late Elaine Frances Terrell Drake, passed away on Friday, October 16, 2020, at Elbert Memorial Hospital.

Mr. Drake was born in Elberton on February 28, 1964, son of the late Clark Edward Drake and Lizzie Mae Scott Drake. He worked in granite quarries for the majority of his life and also at Mayberry Tire in Elberton. He was an avid fisherman.

Survivors include his siblings: Jane and Don Moore, David and Marjorie Drake, and Joann Pierce, all of Elberton; step-daughter, Tracy Wright of Elberton; mother-in-law, Sarah Simmons Terrell of Bowman; and sister-in-law, Mary Terrell of Bowman.

Memorial services celebrating his life will be held on Wednesday, October 21, at 10 o'clock at Deep Creek Baptist Church.
