Jimmy Loyd

Mr. Jimmy Loyd, 79, of Park St., Elberton, GA passed away Monday, January 29, 2018 at Elbert Memorial Hospital.

Mr. Loyd was born February 17, 1938 in Elberton, GA to Newton Loyd and Verna Grimes Loyd. He was a member of Grace Baptist Church and owned and operated Loyd's Cafe with his wife.

He is survived by his son: Nathan Loyd of Elberton, GA and grandchildren: Daniel Loyd, Paige Loyd and Caleb Loyd.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife of 53 years: Mary Ann Jones Loyd and a brother: William Vernon "Billy" Lloyd.

Memorial services will be held 2PM, Thursday, February 1, 2018 at Grace Baptist Church.

In lieu of flowers memorials can be made in Jimmy's memory to Grace Baptist Church 1030 Sunset Dr. Elberton, GA 30635.
