Mr. Joel Wayne Saxon, 52, of Lee Dobbins Rd., Anderson, SC passed away Wednesday, October 29, 2014 at Anmed Hospital in Anderson, SC. Mr. Saxon was born March 17, 1962 in Hartwell, GA to Joe Saxon, Sr. and the late Margaret Pearson Saxon. Left to cherish his memories are his wife Christie Smith Saxon of Anderson, SC; children Amber Saxon, Ashley Saxon, Tyler Saxon of Anderson, SC; William Powell of Bowman, GA; father Joe Saxon, Sr. of Royston, GA; siblings Travis Saxon of Royston, GA; Terry Joe Saxon of Gibson, GA; Angie Cleveland of Hartwell, GA and a grandson Zach Powell. In addition to his mother he was preceded in death by a son Christopher Saxon and brother Joe Saxon, Jr. Memorial services to celebrate his life will be held at a later date.
