John Wesley White, Sr.

Mr. John Wesley White, Sr., 72, of Sunnyside Avenue, Elberton, passed away on Wednesday, October 21, 2020, at his residence.

John was born in Hayesville, NC on October 27, 1947, son of the late David White and Alice Davis White. He was a U.S. Army Veteran and worked as a finance manger most of his life. He retired from Security First and had previously worked at First National Bank, presently Pinnacle Bank.

Survivors include his son, J. Wesley White, Jr. and his wife MacKenzie; grandchildren: Alandra White, Avery White, Aubrey White, Atalie White, and Ashlyn White; and great-granddaughter, Lainey White.

The last surviving member of his immediate family, John is preceded in death by his parents and siblings: Sara Warren and Mike White.

A private graveside service will be held on Friday, October 23, in Forest Hills Memorial Park.
