Mrs. Kathryn "Kathy" Ann Cook, 79, of 3958 Cooter Creek, Elberton, GA, died Wednesday, September 15th at her home.

Mrs. Cook, a native of Pennsylvania had lived in Elberton for many years. She was retired from her nursing career and from the army reserves and thoroughly loved being a member of the Woodlawn United Methodist Church in Elberton.

Survivors include her daughters: Robin Diane Pitts and Jody Ann Thomas. She is also survived by six grandchildren; Caitlin Phillips, Emily Guynn, Zach Pitts, Wil Pitts, Josh Thomas and Corie Johnson along with five great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband: Talmadge Leroy Cook and brothers: Edward J. Sukel and James Dennis Sukel.

Memorial services will be held Tuesday, September 21 at 2PM at Woodlawn United Methodist Church with Rev. John Moore officiating. Entombment will be in Forest Hills Memorial Park.
