Lara Alaina Carey

Miss Lara Alaina Carey, 40, of Milton Street, Lavonia, passed away on Friday, July 2, 2021, at St. Mary's Sacred Heart Hospital.

Miss Carey was born in Athens on November 16, 1980, daughter of Sandra Elizabeth Berryman Graybill and the late Stanley Drew Carey. She worked as a caretaker for the elderly and in the restaurant industry.

Survivors, in addition to her mother of Thomasville, include her siblings: David Winn Graybill, Jr., Karen Lynn Graybill-Young, Christina Michelle Roach, and John Tyler Graybill; and step-mother, Patricia Carey.

In addition to her father, she is preceded in death by her step-father, David Winn Graybill, Sr.

Memorial services will be held at a later date.
