Lois Duncan Jones

Mrs. Lois Duncan Jones, 94, of 651 Rhodes Drive, Elberton, wife of the late Thomas Brown Jones, passed away Monday, October 22, 2012, at Spring Valley Health Care. Mrs. Jones was born in Cherokee County, June 29, 1918, to the late John Floyd and Anna Jarrell Duncan. She was a member of the Elberton First Presbyterian Church and a retired secretary from Elberton Manufacturing Company. Survivors include three sons, Adrian and Nancy Jones of Elberton, Jarrell and Mary Jones of Hull, and Marc Jones of Anderson; eight grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be held at 10AM Wednesday, October 24, in Forest Hills Memorial Park with the Rev. David McConnell officiating. Friends and family are asked to assemble at the cemetery at 9:45AM. The family will greet friends following the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 41 Perimeter Center East, Suite 550, Atlanta, Georgia 30346.
