Marjorie Ellen Edwards Crump

Mrs. Marjorie Ellen Edwards Crump, 93, of Elberton Highway, Hartwell, wife of the late Wayne Eugene Crump, passed away on Monday, July 5, 2021, at her residence.

Mrs. Crump was born in Hickory, NC on February 28, 1928, daughter of the late Jim Frank Edwards and Daisy Ellen Worthen Edwards. She was a retired Licensed Practical Nurse and of the Baptist faith. She enjoyed gardening, sewing, and cooking.

Survivors include her children: Sherry Thornton of Aiken, SC, Nancy Ellen Thornton of Hartwell, and James Pete Thornton of Elberton; sister, Frances Dyson of Washington; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

Private interment services will be held on Friday, July 9, 2021, at Nancy Hart Memorial Park where she will be laid to rest beside her husband.
