Mark Carrington

Mr. Thomas Mark Carrington, 53, of Elberton husband of Laura Carrington passed away Monday, October 23, 2017.

Mr. Carrington was born January 26, 1964 in Elberton, GA to Bud Carrington and Jackie Diane Davis McCurley. He was employed in the granite industry at Wholesale Monument Company.

He is survived by his wife of 23 years: Laura Johnson Carrington; daughter: Jamie LeeAnn Carrington; father and step-mother: Bud and Frances Carrington; mother and step-father: Jackie and John McCurley; siblings: Kelly C. Jordan, Josh and Katie Carrington; grandparents: Horace and Tiny Davis; and a number of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by grandparents: Tom and Janet Carrington, and father and mother-in-law: Fred and Verdun Herndon.

Funeral services to celebrate Mark's life will be held 3PM, Friday, October 27, in the Memorial Chapel of Berry Funeral Home with Rev. Kenny Martin officiating. Interment will follow in Elmhurst Cemetery with Josh Carrington, Jackson Jordan, Brent Moon, Pete Mincey, and Marty King serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends from 2-3PM just prior to the service at Berry Funeral Home. The family is at the home of his grandparents: Horace and Tiny Davis, 1036 Ruckersville Rd., Elberton, GA.
