Martha Warren Hubbard, 72 of 2288 Jaudon Road, Elberton, wife of Mayson Hubbard, passed away Sunday, May 26, 2013, at Elbert Memorial Hospital. Born October 23, 1940 in Elberton, Georgia to the late Woodrow Wilson Warren and Mable Smith Warren. She was a member of River of Life Church in Hartwell, Georgia. She was co-owner of Hubbard Sandblast and a retired stencil cutter from the granite industry. Left to cherish her memories are her husband Mayson Hubbard; son and daughter-in-law Mike and Jackie Hubbard of Raleigh, North Carolina; daughters and son-in-laws Pat and Russell Horton of Easley, South Carolina and Wendy and Mike Miller of Elberton, Georgia; fourteen grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a brother James Wilson Warren. Funeral services celebrating her life will be held 2PM, Friday May 31 at River of Life Church in Hartwell, Georgia with Reverend Ken Buffington officiating. Interment will follow in Elmhurst Cemetery with Brad Campbell, Dale Campbell, Bryan Horton, Kyle McCurley, Kevin Smith and Clay Miller serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Jordan Beri and Draven Boleman. The Hubbard family will be at the home 2288 Jaudon Road and will receive friends from 6-8PM Thursday night at Berry Funeral Home. Flowers are greatly appreciated and memorials may be made in her honor to River of Life Church 3966 Hartwell Highway Hartwell, Georgia 30643 or to the American Cancer Society 1684 Barnett Shoals Road Athens, Georgia 30605.
