Mary Alma Thurmond

Mrs. Mary Alma Price Thurmond, 73, of Danburg St., Tignall, GA wife of William Thurmond passed away Monday, August 21, 2017 at Wills Memorial Hospital in Washington, GA.

Mrs. Thurmond was born August 20, 1944 in Sandersville, GA to Ira Prescott Price and Alma Marilyn Hall Price. She was a member of Tignall Baptist Church and was a retired seamstress.

Survivors include her husband: William Thurmond; mother: Alma Marilyn Hall Price of Union Point, GA; brother: Steve Price of Tignall, GA; grandchildren: Sable & Matthew Vanhart of St. Mary's, GA; Doug Standard of Washington, GA and great-grandchildren: Luke and Katelynn Vanhart.

In addition to her father she was preceded in death by her son: Doug Standard and sister: Iris Livingston.

Memorial services to celebrate her life will be held 2PM, Saturday, September 9 at Tignall Baptist Church with Rev. Adam Denny officiating.
