Mary Vinnie Armstrong

Mrs. Mary Vinnie Armstrong, 90, of Dr. George Ward Rd., Elberton, GA passed away Thursday, February 22, 2018.

Mrs. Armstrong was born in Ware Shoals, SC January 15, 1928 to Joe Armstrong and Sarah Palmer Armstrong Beck. She was a member of Elberton First Baptist Church and was a retired caregiver.

She is survived by sons: Jerry McDonald, Sr. of Tignall, GA, Jimmy McDonald of Atlanta, GA; and a number of grandchildren.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by sons: Richard McDonald, Ronald McDonald; daughter: Jean McDonald and all her siblings.

Mrs. McDonald was cremated and a private family graveside memorial service will be held later.
