Marylea Adams Bell

MaryLea Adams Bell, 81, of 1011 Ruckersville Road, Elberton, wife of the late H.A. Bell, Jr., passed away Thursday, October 11, 2012, at her residence. Mrs. Bell was born in Elbert County, November 16, 1930, to the late Robert Ernest, Sr. and Sarah Ethel Smith Adams. She was retired from Elberton Manufacturing Company and a member of Fortsonia Baptist Church. Left to cherish her memories are her children and their spouses, Henry A., III and Dolores Bell, Ethel and Matthew Kantala, III, and Lisa Bell, all of Elberton; sister-in-law, Hazel G. Adams; brother and sister-in-law, Horace and Betty Jo Adams of Elberton; seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by siblings, Owen Adams, Inman Adams, Robert E. Adams, Frances Edwards, Elise Mabry, and Emily Worley. Graveside funeral services celebrating her life will be held at 3PM Sunday, October 14, in the Fortsonia Community Cemetery with the Rev. Al Butler officiating. The family is at the residence, 1011 Ruckersville Road and will receive friends immediately following the service in the Faith Center at Fortsonia Baptist Church.
