Maxine Mcdaniel Seymour

Mrs. Heleon 'Maxine' McDaniel Seymour, 74, wife of the late Russell Seymour, passed away on Thursday, December 19, 2019, at Brown Health and Rehabilitation Center in Royston.

Maxine was born in Miami Beach, FL on September 30, 1945, daughter of the late Leroy McDaniel and Carra Violet Benfield McDaniel. She was an x-ray technician having worked at Elbert Memorial Hospital. She was happiest when spending time with her granddaughter and enjoyed country music, especially Toby Keith.

Survivors include her son, Rusty Seymour; sister and brother-in-law, Carra and Herb Seymour; granddaughter, Emily Gunter and her mother Angela; and nephew and caretaker, John Curlee, Jr., his wife Kate, and their daughter, Katie.

In addition to her parents, and husband, she is preceded in death by her sister, Sarah McDaniel Hart.

Memorial services celebrating her life will be held on Friday, December 27, at 2 o'clock at Berry Funeral Home with the Rev. Matt Parker officiating.
