Melanie Hoorn Groover

Mrs. Melanie Hoorn Groover, 77, of Lightwood Lane, Hartwell, GA wife of William L. Groover passed away Monday, February 8, 2016 at Hartwell Health and Rehabilitation. Mrs. Groover was born September 19, 1938 in Southgate, CA to the late Kenneth M. Hoorn and Edna Bliss Hoorn. She was a member of St. Andrew's Episcopal Church in Hartwell, GA and was a homemaker. Left to cherish her memories are her husband William L. Groover; daughters Janet C. Groover of Hartwell, GA, Beverly Arthur of Iva, SC, two grandchildren Sarah Elizabeth Moore, William Steve Moore and one great-grandchild Charlotte "Charlie" Ann Moore. Memorial services to celebrate her life will be held 10:30AM Friday, February 12 at St. Andrew's Episcopal Church in Hartwell, GA with Rev. Susan Louttit-Hardaway officiating. The family will receive friends following the service in the Parish Hall. Berry Funeral Home & Crematory, Elberton is assisting the family of Mrs. Melanie Hoorn Groover.
