Millard Lesseur

Mr. Millard Lesseur, age 96, of Calhoun Falls Highway, Elberton, GA husband of 71 years to Elmira Gunnells "Myra" Lesseur, finished his course in faith on Sunday, April 15, 2018, at his residence.

Mr. Lesseur was born on January 11, 1922, in the Glade Community of Carlton, GA, son of the late Obie Veal Lesseur and Fannie Bea Allgood Lesseur. He was a well-known farmer and served his country in the United States Air Force during World War II. Millard was a long-time member of Bethel E Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Myra; niece, Leslie Kolacki; and many other relatives and friends.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by an infant son and his twin sister, Mildred Lesseur Jedrezak.

Funeral services celebrating his life will be held on Wednesday, April 18, at 3 o'clock from the graveside in Bethel E Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Scott Mize officiating. There will be no formal visitation and family and friends are requested to meet at the cemetery.

Flowers are optional and memorials may be made in Millard's memory to Bethel E Baptist Church, 2576 Calhoun Falls Highway, Elberton, GA 30635.
