Norma Jane Williams

Ms. Norma Jane Williams, 81, of Brewers Bridge Road, Elberton, went to with be her Lord on Sunday, December 19, 2021, at her daughter’s residence.

Ms. Williams was born in Atlanta on December 27, 1939, daughter of the late Norman Williams and Sylvia Ruth “Tommie” Black Smith. She was a homemaker and a seamstress having worked at Elberton Manufacturing Company. Jane was a devoted Christian.

Survivors include her children: Bill Ronald “Ronnie” Blackmon, Jr. and Lori Blackmon Seymour; grandchildren: Carrie Blackmon, Kattie Blackmon, Laney Blackmon, Olivia Blackmon, Joshua (Kayla) Burden, Samuel (MaryAnna) Burden, Megan McAnespy, David Blackmon, Tiffany Blackmon, Alecia (Marquavious) Brownlee, Avery (Tessa) Lunsford, Logan Vickery, and Colby McGuffin ; seventeen great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her children: Norman Blackmon and Lisa Jane Blackmon; and sisters: Connie Black and Yvonne Leverett.

Funeral services celebrating her life will be held on Wednesday, December 22, at 2 o’clock in the Memorial Chapel of Berry Funeral Home with the Revs. Bill Jones and Richard Fife officiating. Interment will follow in Elmhurst Cemetery with Jon Vickery, Jon Black, Benny Leverett, Scott Lunsford, Marquavious Brownlee honored as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends at Berry Funeral Home from 6:00-8:00p.m. on Tuesday, December 21.
