Odell Bennett

Mr. Junior Odell Bennett, 60, of 140 W. Hendricks Street, Bowman, husband of Kathy Marie Christian Bennett, passed away on Wednesday, November 19, 2014, at his residence. Mr. Bennett was born in Franklin County on August 2, 1954, to Malvine Jordan Bennett and the late Jimmy Odell Bennett. He was a member of Rehoboth Baptist Church and owner of Bennett's Construction. Left to cherish his memories are his wife, Kathy Marie Christian Bennett of the home; daughters: Tammy Lunsford of Elberton, Robin Davis of Bowman, and Pamela Hill of Canon; mother, Malvine Jordan Bennett of Bowman; siblings and their spouses: Michael and Janet Bennett of Nuberg, Becky and Eric Johanson of Dewy Rose, Gary and Barbara Bennett of Elberton, Janet Reagin of Bowman, and Donnie Bennett of Bowman; grandchildren: Kayla Lunsford, Brandon Davis, Raymond Davis, Erica Carey, and Katelyn Carey; great-grandchildren: Kinzey Davis, Raylee Davis; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services celebrating his life will be held on Saturday, November 22, at 2:00p.m. in the Memorial Chapel of Berry Funeral Home with the Revs. Stacy Lynch and Leon Suttles officiating. Interment will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery. The family is at the residence, 140 W. Hendricks Street, Bowman and at the residence of his mother, 2120 Bennett Road, Bowman, and will receive friends at Berry Funeral Home from 6:00-8:00p.m. on Friday evening.
